Interior Designer Wilton
Ginger Lemon Indigo designs considered, lived-in interiors for homeowners across Wilton and the wider Fairfield County landscape. The work suits Colonial and Federal houses around the historic town center, New England farmhouses, and custom homes set back on larger wooded lots. The Studio specialises in full-home renovations, as well as home furnishing and styling.
A Wilton home asks a particular kind of attention. Older Colonials and farmhouses carry wide-plank floors, low ceilings, and rooms shaped by decades of use. The design challenge is preserving that layered character while making the space work for how a family lives today.
What We Bring to Wilton
For a family in Darien, CT — we worked with the pieces they had already collected rather than starting over. A charcoal velvet sectional anchors the family room around a vintage round glass and chrome coffee table; the kitchen finds its character in a vintage French farm cabinet painted in Greek green. Gold grasscloth draws the dining room in, a deep enveloping brown in the living room that cocoons the family at the end of the day. Personal without being precious, made for an authentic life with young children.

Ginger Lemon Indigo designs comfortable, considered, and beautifully functioning homes for families, empty nesters, and busy professionals — spaces that are modern in sensibility, honest in material and warm in character. Barbra Fordyce founded the Studio on a simple but deeply held belief, that home is not an aesthetic exercise. Having lived across the Netherlands, London, and the Connecticut coast, she brings a global eye and a genuine instinct for what makes a space feel truly livable.
